Jennifer Schulte

Jennifer Schulte is a human rights researcher and social scientist with over a decade of experience working with international human rights, humanitarian and development organizations. She has designed, led, and carried out research and program-based evaluation across 50 low-income and conflict-affected countries in Africa, the Middle East, South Asia and South America. She has also trained humanitarians, human rights defenders and journalists on gender-based violence prevention and response, digital and holistic security, ethics in using new technologies to document human rights violations, and responsible data practices. She has served as a consultant to Article 19, the Institute for War and Peace Reporting, the Tactical Technology Collective, EngageMedia, among other NGOs and community-based organizations. She is a former staff researcher of the International Center for Research on Women. She holds an MSc in Sociology (Gender Research) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, an MA from Kings College London, and a BA from Columbia University.
