re:publica is taking place in the STATION-Berlin in Berlin-Kreuzberg. After its completion in 1913 this former postal freight train station has experienced its share of highs and lows. Once the largest package distribution facility in Germany, it was taken off of the rail network in 1997 and eventually closed down in 2003 following restructuring and rationalisation measures. Two years later, the train station was purchased by PREMIUM Exhibitions GmbH and thoroughly renovated.

Address: Luckenwalder Str. 4–6, 10963 Berlin. A map of the area can be found here.
