New Approaches in Education. The "re:learn" track at re:publica is dedicated to educational skills in the digital era. How can we learn, re-learn and further educate ourselves in the digital space? How can new technologies become integrated into the learning processes? This track presents cross-generational concepts, ideas and projects in the field of formal and informal education.
re:learn has been an established track at re:publica since 2010. At 2015’s conference, an eclectic mix of international educators, technology experts, children, seniors and adults discussed topics of surveillance in the education system, reality gaming in schools, online literacy, Family 2.0, political education on YouTube, as well as ethical dimensions of computer programming. Participants concluded that it's important to build confidence in the technology behind these innovations, without giving up healthy critical perspectives. And again in 2016 the track had an exciting programme at #rpTEN. Check out below for all sessions and news on re:learn 2016 and in the last couple of years.
