Rethinking the city after the "refugee crisis» (we love the crisis)

Transcultural Open Artlabs for the Berlin of tomorrow The Guide for NewBerliners is a digital concept for a better arrival for refugees in Berlin. It's developed together with the newcomers, who are the «Stadtumgestalter» of the city of tomorrow. The „refugee crises“ creates a disruptive moment for our encrusted administration, social system and our imagination of the city. It creates space for questions and visions, that will make all of us to become NewBerliners. We invite all NewBerliners, all «Stadtumgestalter» of today, transitiontown-initiatives, Fablabber, ExPats, urbane Gardeners, artists and activists to discuss and envision with us an open, collaborative and sustainable city of Berlin.

We'll also talk about the experiences we did making our first steps of our design research for a transcultural city. We met many newcomers. We listened to their words and hearts. We talked, we understood about the problems, needs and wishes and we worked together towards a better arrival in Berlin.
