On the Internet, nothing is ever fast enough, and no amount of content ever enough. More information from ever more sources. Unfiltered by anybody. With cat pictures mixed in. Friends of friends recommend what we should read, while algorithms sort content on the basis of relevance. There’s never an end to what might be interesting: “10 tricks that let you absorb more information”. One bit of news replaces the next, is shared, and usually forgotten. With cat videos mixed in. With quiet and a bit of reflection, we can reconnect with our love for paper. But can’t this work for digital too?
