Eva is part of the multi-disciplinary Think Tank and PhD program “Design of Flexible Work Environments: Human-Centric Use of Cyber-Physical Systems in Industry 4.0”: Ten PhD student researches from ten different fields of science, such as psychologie, computer science, sociology, systems engineering, economics, and menchanical enigineering, are working interdisciplinary. Homebases are the Research Institute for Cognition and Robotics (CoR-Lab, Bielefeld) and the Paderborn Institute for Advanced Studies in Computer Science and Engineering (PACE, Paderborn).

Among recent activities are numerous talks given on the topic of Industrie 4.0 towards the general public and during the Hannover Fair (Hannover Messe), during an idea exchange meet up with North Rine Westphalian prime minister Hannelore Kraft,  and through presentations at the 9th international RWL conference in Singapore.

Eva is an attributive research assistant at the department for studies in social structure and social inequality at the University of Bielefeld, Germany. Her field of research spans personnel economics and cultural and structural sociology, her research interests are socio-technological aspects in work environments and everyday life. She studied sociology, economic psychology and cultural anthropology at the Georg-August-University in Goettingen, Germany and Padova, Italy.
