Maryant is a lawyer and Advocacy Manager at European Digital Rights (EDRi) in Brussels. Maryant advocates for the protection of people's fundamental rights and freedoms online in the fields of telecommunications, privatised enforcement, international trade agreements and Internet governance. During the last eight years, she specialised in EU, International and Comparative law, gaining an LLM in Law in a European and Global Context from Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Maryant gained professional experience at the Spanish Ministry of Public Works, CEU San Pablo University, the European Law Moot Court Society, Décathlon S.A. and CCA Advogados | ONTIER.
