Matthew Stender is a Berlin-based technology rights advocate, communication strategist and creative director who focuses on digital censorship and the social impact of emerging technologies. Currently a project strategist for Onlinecensorship.org, Matthew has worked in various industries including public relations, data journalism, and citizen diplomacy throughout Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and North America. He holds a BA in international relations from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Masters in Global Communication from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
