Ana Laura Santos graduated has a Master degree from the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering at Delft University of Technology in medical design engineering and recently completed her PhD at the same university with a research about the adequacy of medical devices to humanitarian aid and emergency relief contexts. Furthermore ALR Santos was one of the founders of the Rethink Relief international initiative, a yearly design collaboration of humanitarian partners, aid beneficiaries, design scholars and professionals. She is currently case manager at Médecins Sans Fronetières Sweden Innovation Unit and guest researcher in her previous university.
