Grace Keji is the South Sudan Project Coordinator for #DefyHateNow which is a social media hate speech mitigation initiative funded by the German Federal Foreign Office(Institut fur Auslansbeziehungen) . The initiative engages various actors such as the youth,people living in UN protection of civilian camps (POCs), grassroots organizations, women groups, development partners through awareness sessions in workshops, online platforms and other mainstream media such as radio on the role that social media can play in spreading violence in their communities.

Grace also has several years of experience living and working in Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya where she worked as a volunteer primary school teacher, newspaper editor, columnist and as a Girls Education Advocate for the Kenya Equity in Education Project (KEEP).
