“Never. Stop. Spinning.” This is the mantra of Germany’s Paralympic and World Champion cyclist, Denise Schindler. It’s a mantra that she has exemplified in her quest for the perfect competition-grade prosthetic leg. On the road to the 2016 Paralympic Games in Brazil, Denise has teamed up with Autodesk, a company that is revolutionizing the way things are designed and made through its software and technology. At re:publica, Denise and Autodesk’s manufacturing magic-maker Mickey Wakefield will offer a workshop on how they are using cutting edge technology to design a 3D-printed prosthetic that pioneers a new wave of technology on the world’s stage.
