Erstmalig gibt die internationale Jury der Bobs die Preisträger auf der Media Convention Berlin bekannt. Seit 2004 verleiht die Deutsche Welle (DW) „The Bobs – Best of Online Activism“.

Beschreibung:

Ausgezeichnet wird herausragendes Engagement für die Stärkung der Meinungsfreiheit und der Zivilgesellschaft im Netz. 2.300 Vorschläge wurden in diesem Jahr eingereicht. Die Jury aus 14 renommierten Aktivisten, Bloggern und Journalisten vergibt die Bobs in den Kategorien Social Change, Tech for Good, Arts and Culture and Citizen Journalism. Die Preise werden den Gewinnern im Juni in Bonn im Rahmen des DW Global Media Forum verliehen.

Press Conference: „The Bobs – Best of Online Activism“.

For the first time, the international jury of the Bobs will announce the winners at the Media Convention Berlin. Deutsche Welle (DW) has been awarding „The Bobs – Best of Online Activism“ since 2004.

The award honors outstanding dedication for the strengthening of freedom of speech and civil societies in the web. 2.300 entries were considered this year. The jury of 14 renowned activists, bloggers and journalists awards the Bobs in the categories Social Change, Tech for Good, Arts and Culture and Citizen Journalism. The awards will be presented to the winners in June in Bonn during the DW Global Media Forum.
