Dr. Juliane Jarke arbeitet seit September 2014 als Wissenschaftlerin im Institut für Informationsmanagement Bremen (ifib) sowie dem Zentrum für Medien-, Kommunikations- und Informationsforschung (ZeMKI) an der Universität Bremen. Derzeit leitet Dr. Jarke im Rahmen des dreijährigen EU-Projektes MobileAge ein Arbeitspaket zu „Participatory Design in Civic Technology and Open Data“. Von Dezember 2013 bis August 2014 war sie im „Centre for the Study of Technology and Organisation“ an der Lancaster University Management School als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin tätig und erhielt dort ihren PhD. Seit 2009 arbeitet sie regelmäßig als unabhängige Gutachterin für die Europäische Kommission in den Bereichen eInfrastrukturen und Digital Science.

Dr. Juline Jarke has worked since September 2014 as a researcher at the Institute for Information Management Bremen (ifib), as well as at the Centre for Media, Communication, and Information Research (ZeMKI) at the University of Bremen. Currently, Jarke leads the Participatory Design in Civic Technology and Open Data project, which operates under the auspices of the three-year Mobile Age EU initiative. From December 2013 through August 2014, she served as a research associate at the Lancaster University Management School’s Centre for the Study of Technology and Organisation, receiving her Ph.D. there. Since 2009, she has regularly worked as an independent expert for the European Commission in the areas of e-infrastructure and digital science.
