Asmaa GUEDIRA
Asmaa is passionate about social innovation, and very interested in the impact of collaboration enabled by digital technology in creative and innovative communities that emerge in societies, especially in developing countries.
Asmaa is a connector for OuiShare, an international community of innovators working together on emerging paradigms such as collaborative economy, open source, decentralized organizations and zero waste, that she joined after working 4 years as a consultant at PwC. For the past 2 years, her focus has been on creating synergies in the areas of digital innovation and social entrepreneurship between Europe and the MENA region. This is an area of particular importance as she grew up in Morocco and lived in Paris the past 10 years.
As a community builder and collaborative strategist, Asmaa helped to develop the OuiShare MENA network in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine, focusing on social entrepreneurship and the collaborative economy. Last year she co-chaired the OuiShare Fest, a 3-day conference on collaborative societies; and co-organized POC21, a 5 week innovation camp of 100+ eco-hackers. Asmaa is also consulting for various organizations involved in the MENA region, such as MitOst, SwitchMed, or the Womanity Foundation.
