Frederik Obermaier is an investigative journalist and bestselling book author living in Munich. He is working for Süddeutsche Zeitung - Germany's biggest quality newspaper. His work focuses largely on investigative research worldwide.

Together with his colleague Bastian Obermayer he initiated and coordinated the "Panama Papers"-revelations. Before Obermaier was part already of the international team of journalists, who revealed the "Offshore-Leaks", "Luxemburg-Leaks" and "Swiss-Leaks".
