Kurzthese:

Enthusiastic about electronics but intimidated by its complex system? Can you believe you only need to learn four basic blocks to start building your own electronic systems and repair your home appliances? Come and learn with us hands on, build the four circuits and start feeling like an engineer. In fact, after building the four circuits we will use them to make an simple piano and learn how they combine to make an electronic system. Easy and fascinating way to introduce yourself to electronics

Beschreibung:

The complexity of electronics systems may scare you from enrolling in an electronics course. The way electronics engineering is taught in school is somehow intimidating to many people, using a lot of complex mathematics.

But we can make your journey in learning electronics much easier by introducing you to the four basic circuits that are the building blocks of electronic devices you see around you.

We will learn about the four circuits, build them and test them and use them to make an electronic system. We will also try to identify what and how a combination of these circuits are used to make some common electronic devices you know, piano, radio receiver, TV set, just to name a few.

This is a good way to start learning electronics or increase your understanding. It is also a quick way to become Hardware Maker. We will provide you with information on how to start learning electronics, what kind of books and materials are good to begin with, teach you the best way to study at home, and identify some practical difference between vocational training and a degree course from a maker’s perspective.

The number of particpants will be 16 trainees per session, divided  in four groups of which each will build one of the four basic circuits. At the end, each grouo will connect the circuits to build a piano.

Note: 16 participants maximum, please sign up at the GIG makerspace.  Sign up sheet will be available from the start of Day 1. Please come 10 mins before workshop.

Vielen Dank and many thanks to Bürklin for their awesome sponsorship of the hardware used in this workshop!
